NIGERIA/ZIMBABWE POETRY EXCHANGE – SHORTLISTED ENTRIES
SYNW also Set to Upload two E-Books – Songs of Sorrow and Songs of Freedom
Sequel to a call for entries published in Nigerian Tribune, Daily Times, Naira land, Naija Stories, Takada Online and other online publicity media calling for entries from young poets between the ages of 15 and 35 residing in Nigeria and Zimbabwe. The programme which the Society of Young Nigerian Writers and Girl Child Creativity Concept in Zimbabwe organized. The programme ran for four months (September 2012 to December 2012). Participants were awarded certificates of participation a week after the deadline of call for entries. After thorough judgments by numerous judges, only the following listed entries scaled through (shortlisted) from both countries:
